Rice Bros. Trucking is aware of the incredibly important role safety plays in our industry of oil and gas and the safe transportation of the equipment involved in the industry. Our owners want to get home safely at the end of the day. They want all of their employees to get home safely at the end of the day and they want everyone else on the roads and lease locations to also make it home to their families safely at the end of each day. Rice Bros. Trucking strives to continuously improve their safety program and job procedures. Rice Bros. Trucking wants all employees to feel safe while doing their job and wants all other companies who work alongside Rice Bros. Trucking to have confidence in the role that safety and compliance with regulations and procedures has within Rice Bros. Trucking as an organization. Whether our drivers are hauling rig equipment, rig mats, tanks or shacks, we want safety to be the number one concern. Rice Bros. Trucking follows all industry recommended safety practices, we also follow IRP-16, we have SECOR through Enform, our drivers have Petroleum Safety Training Certificates. We are federally regulated and are able to haul your loads in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Manitoba. We have a Safety Coordinator to address all safety-related issues. Rice Bros. Trucking follows all OHS laws and regulations and NSC directives, Commercial Vehicle Safety Regulations, Transportation of Dangerous Goods and Transport Canada Regulations. Employees within Rice Bros. Trucking are required to have First Aid Training, H2S Training, TDG and WHMIS as well as training within Rice Bros. Trucking. New employees must proceed through our Drug and Alcohol regulation including testing. Drivers complete daily Hazard Assessment and Control Forms and Vehicle and Equipment Inspection Forms. We have regular Company Safety Meetings and Tool Box meetings. Trucks are inspected and maintained regularly by certified professionals. Rice Bros.
