Rice Bros. Trucking Ltd. Welcomes Greg Bisson as COO!
As the new Chief Operating Officer, Greg Bisson brings a wealth of experience to Rice Bros. Trucking Ltd., and we are excited to welcome him to this position!
Greg, as President of Lode Solutions over the last eight years, handled major drilling contracts throughout Western Canada. Previous to that, he had been with Major Drilling Group for close to twenty years. At Major Drilling, Greg held various positions within the organization, including Regional Manager and Global Safety Director prior to being promoted to General Manager of Canadian Operations.
Greg was actively involved globally over the last forty years in the drilling, civil, construction and transportation industries, and worked throughout Australia, Africa, Latin America, as well as various Canadian locations. Greg’s unique approach to fostering and mentoring workers, seeking methodology for continuous improvements for vendors and inter-company strategies, plus performance that drives quality service for clients and personnel, has fostered a successful career within the industry.
As Global Safety Director, Greg worked with the Australian Drilling Industry Training Committee (ADITC), the Ontario Ministry of Training, Universities and Colleges (MTCU), and the Mining Industry Human Resource Council (MiHR), to assist in the development and updating of the drilling industry’s Best Practice Standards and Common Core Training Modules. Greg has also developed significant safety and environmental procedures based on the current ISO/OHSA standards applicable to the area and industry in which he was based at the time. He has previous experience with trouble-shooting, trucking, skid and fly-support, altitude, arctic and perma-frost conditions. He is very proud to have worked in his third-generation family-owned specialized rotary and water-well business.
With his vast experience in managing people and operations, our company is extremely excited to be bringing Greg on board at Rice Bros. Trucking Ltd. as the new COO!
